After a distinguished career as a Senior Data and Applied Scientist at Microsoft, Sylvia dedicated her expertise and passion to a deeply human purpose: helping people discover their family history.
Today she is the founder of two key platforms for the Hispanic community: PuertoRicanGenealogy.org and Looking4MyRoots.com, where she also teaches genealogists how to incorporate artificial intelligence into their research. She is a volunteer teacher, speaker, and passionate advocate for preserving the collective memory of our communities.
